The renewal of the Budapest–Hatvan section of Railway Line 80 was carried out with domestic and EU funding. Swietelsky Vasúttechnika Kft. was responsible for the works on the Gödöllő–Hatvan segment of the project. The company’s tasks included the complete reconstruction of the track network in Gödöllő, the heavy‑rail track rehabilitation along the affected line section, as well as several structural works and the rebuilding and refurbishment of stations.

Thanks to the company’s work, a total of thirty‑two trough bridges, frame bridges and culverts were renewed. In addition, four grade‑separated pedestrian structures crossing the railway were constructed, one new road overpass was built, and two existing overpasses were refurbished.
