We carried out the construction of the more than 6‑kilometre serpentine section of Main Road 25 between Szentdomonkos and Borsodnádasd as part of the joint development programme of Main Roads 23 and 25. The project was implemented by the HE‑DO – SWIETELSKY Magyarország Kft. consortium.

The mountainous terrain presented significant engineering challenges, requiring the construction of an additional climbing lane as well as several soil‑retaining structures and retaining walls. As a result of the development, the previously narrow and slow‑moving road section now provides safer, faster and more modern traffic conditions for the region—benefiting long‑distance buses, freight transport and daily commuters alike.
