The main straight of the Hungaroring received a new asphalt pavement over a length of 620 linear metres, covering an area of 8,866 m². During construction, 860 tonnes of a special asphalt mix made with higher softening‑point bitumen were laid. The wearing course was installed using three finishers working in parallel, supplied by two material transfer vehicles to minimise longitudinal unevenness and ensure a uniform surface texture.
