The aim of the investment was to create an international research environment capable of operating equipment that generates the world’s most intense and shortest light pulses.
As part of the project, a large‑scale, high‑tech laboratory and mechanical engineering infrastructure was constructed to ensure the stable operation of extremely sensitive laser and vacuum systems. The facility required special architectural and engineering solutions, including vibration‑damped foundations, precise temperature and humidity control, and high‑purity laboratory spaces.
