As part of the new regional marketplace project in Békéscsaba, a covered–open market hall, a row of pavilions and a multi‑storey car park were constructed. The development was carried out on the site of the former market and the surrounding public spaces, integrating harmoniously into the architectural character of the city’s already renewed urban areas.
With its off‑white exposed concrete surfaces, perforated raw‑brick elements and green façades created with climbing vegetation, the completed building complex represents outstanding aesthetic and construction quality. The project has contributed significantly to the overall rehabilitation and revitalisation of the entire district.
