The county center road construction project is now ready for technical handover.
In Szolnok near the Hetényi Hospital one important arterial road has become safer thanks to the collaboration of our Central Hungary Chief Engineer team. A section of the road near the hospital, approximately 400 meters long, has been renovated, with the work starting in April by our colleagues. The physical part of the work, which has a deadline in November, was practically completed by August, and currently, the documentation is being prepared.
During the project, the existing 2x2 lane main road was widened with a turning lane, and a complete pavement structure was built on the hospital side. Throughout the entire length of the road section, a replacement of the edge and wearing course was carried out, a bus stop was renewed, the traffic light junction was revitalized, and two pedestrian crossings were established. The construction work had to be carried out while maintaining continuous traffic. Additionally, various material supply and transportation difficulties posed further challenges for our colleagues.
